Do you need to replace the whole deadbolt?

Not always. Many smart locks are retrofit — they replace the interior assembly only, keeping your existing exterior hardware and key. August and some Yale models work this way.

Can the smart lock integrate with my Ring or Google Home?

Yes — we configure the integration during installation. Most Wi-Fi smart locks work with Ring, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings.

What if my door doesn't close perfectly?

We check door gap and alignment before installing. Minor adjustments to the strike plate or deadbolt position are handled during the visit. Major door issues may need a separate door service.

Do you set up user access codes?

Yes. We configure up to 4 user codes during installation. Additional codes can be added in the app at any time.

After hardware installation, we connect the lock to your Wi-Fi (for Wi-Fi enabled models) or Z-Wave/Zigbee hub, configure your access codes, set auto-lock timing, and link it to your Ring, Google Home, or Alexa account if you have one.
